Men's Health Forum Scotland National Conference

On 12th March 2004, Men's Health Forum Scotland held it's first National Conference - "Involving Men, Developing Services", at the Glasgow Royal Concert Hall.

It was attended by more than 230 people with an interest in men's health, including some of the top experts in the field. The opening speech was given by Tom McCabe MSP, Deputy Minister for Health and Community Care.

With a diverse and extensive programme the day brought together a wealth of experience, expertise and ideas.

The day provided opportunities for networking, learning, sharing experience and best practice, encouragement and fun.

Workshops, discussions, exhibitions, participation, presentations and a drama production were just some of the activities on offer. Photographs, a video diary room and graffiti wall added different dimensions. Complementary therapies and men's health MOT checks, displays and information stalls added to the busy programme.

And there was a fresh fruit buffet on offer all day to keep delegates nourished and refreshed ... as well as free copies of the Haynes Man and Cancer Manual for every delegate.

On these pages you will find a range of resources and reports from the conference, including sound and visual presentations as they were given by speakers.
