AFS is Scotland’s only national charity on alcohol, and is the umbrella organisation for 30 local councils on alcohol covering the whole of Scotland.
 
They have been around for 30 years (previously as the Scottish Council on Alcohol), and produce a wide range of information and fact sheets on alcohol. They also train alcohol counsellors, and work in partnership with HEBS and the other major players in the alcohol field.

This is a new helpline to help men feeling low, available between 6.00pm and 2.00am, every night. It offers a free and confidential service. Callers can talk to trained people about issues and get information about other local services that may help. The website has useful links to other organisations that provide help.
 
Piloting in Greater Glasgow and Argyll and Clyde health board areas, with plans to go national.

At some time all parents find that parenting can be difficult, stressful, even impossible. ParentLine Scotland is the free, confidential, telephone helpline for parents and anyone caring for a child in Scotland. You can call about any problem, however big or small. Lines are open Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 9.00am to 4.00pm, and Tuesday and Thursday, 3.00pm to 9.00pm.

Body Positive Tayside is a self-help support group for individuals infected or affected by HIV/AIDS in the Dundee City, Angus, and Perth & Kinross Council areas.
 
The aims of the group are for members/users to have control over their own lives, combat isolation, have a collective voice, bring about changes in the cultural agenda, and achieve personal growth and self-development.
 
Services include drop-in, free complementary therapies, newsletter, buddy befriending scheme, treatment information officer attached to information resource with internet access. Some services can be provided in service users' homes.

PHACE Scotland has administered the Hardship Fund in Scotland since 1996 on behalf of Crusaid. The fund is for people who are HIV positive or living with AIDS and their carers. It aims to provide for things that will improve the quality of life for people living with HIV.
