Events in Castlemilk, Glasgow
Staff are in the Castlemilk shopping centre between 12 and 2 this week promoting the clinic that is on in Castlemilk Health centre on Monday nights 6-8 pm.
Staff will also be carrying out Mot's at Castlemilk fun day on Saturday
A Couple more Events in Highland
Thurs 15th June we have a stand with leaflets/posters and a nurse taking blood pressures, heights and weights in the James Cameron Community Centre in Dalneigh, Inverness, from 4.30 to 7.30.
Fri 16th June,9.15 to 11.30 approx in the Netley Centre,Highland Hospice, we have a group meeting,including 2 speakers -
Nikki Fraser from the Blast Drug Project on " Men and Drugs"
and Sandy Hamilton,Clinical Manager in the Inverness Prison, on "Male Medical problems in the Prison"

Put Your West Foot Forward
Remit: Volunteer Led Health Walks for people who live and work in West Lothian. Walks, nonetheless, are aimed primarily at the most inactive and people with health issues.
Event: Due to low attendance by males Launching an all male Health Walk (Men on the Move) on Saturday 17th June in conjunction with a Men's health Stall at the local Leisure centre.
Where: Whitburn (Leisure centre)
Date: 17/06/06
Time: Stall will open at 10am. Health walk will be at 12pm. stall will close at 2pm at the latest.
Partners: West Lothian Leisure, Livingston F.c. (free tickets for games etc.), whitburn Juniors F.C., West Lothian Council, Lothian NHS, Local pubs and Bookies.

Men's Quiz Night/Information Evening
Where: Arthurlie Club, Ralston Road Barrhead East Renfrewshire

Men's health MOTs
Where: Riverside, Dunoon, Argyll and Bute
Date: 12/06/06. 14/06/06, 16/06/06
Time: 11am -3pm
Event Details: In partnership with local authority and voluntary sector health staff will carry out health checks in the local swimming pool/gym between 11am -3pm on mon, wed, fri of MHW. Following the MOT men are offered 3 free gym inductions and on completion are entered into a draw for a 1year gym membership, we also have other 'healthy' prizes on offer. We also have smoking cessation and stress management on offer.
