"Men Enough!"
A conference to explore working with men to end violence against women
The conference took place on Friday 11th May 2007 at Glasgow City Chambers.
Many who work both with men who are violent and with their partners and children agree that it is essential to engage with men at different stages in their lives in order to prevent them from going on to terrorise others and in the process ruin their own lives.
The aim of the confernece was to bring people together to develop strategies to engage with men in our communities. It was aimed at professionals, politicians, activists and those who want to ensure the safety of women and children and work towards ending the violence that men can do, but who agree that this cannot be achieved by ignoring men or refusing to engage with them.
